The stripe drawings exhibited in Eizo Nishio: Drawings 2011-2012 explore new and uncharted potential in abstract art through a study of the complex and richly varying colors and the contrast created by the concentration of simple lines.
The book also includes other works, such as overdrawing and collages on stripe drawings, combinations of separate drawings with digital processing,
and shaped canvas works.
The artist himself edited and designed the book.
